50 States of Pray is up to
The Linky List is here - and many, many thanks for all your support.
Speaking of support, if you know anyone who served in the U.S. military during the era of Bob Hope, here's a YouTube video I think they would love to see.
This 10-minute video clip is a wonderful tribute to the men and women who served, and it shows - especially in the last minute, which highlights a wonderful, inspiring rendition of Silent Night.
It also highlights some of Bob's greatest USO-sponsored Christmas shows, and if you ain't never seen a Bob Hope Christmas Special, you've missed out... until now :)
Merry Christmas, everyone :)

Bob Hope was always an excellent entertainer .. cheers Hilary
I enjoyed the video clip. Bob Hope was a great entertainer and he definitely lifted the spirits of those troops.
Thanks for putting the ENG at the end of my name. Sorry, I forgot to do it. I've already pasted the link into my blog html (in draft). Is this OK or should I do it on the day? This is my first blog hop and want to get it right.
I love watching the old clips of the Bob Hope Christmas specials and especially the ones with the troops. Happy Monday Mark!!
This was one of the highlights on t.v. growing up. Thanks for the memories, Mark!
Looking forward to the 50 States of Pray...even though I still have no idea what I want to write...
Nine more - will try to find them.
Bob Hope did so much for the troops.
You don't often think about it from that side- how hard it must have been for the show to go on knowing what they all knew. I truly hope there's a special place in Paradise for men like him.
I'm excited about the 50 States of Pray!
And wonderful video -- I grew up with the Bob Hope Christmas specials on TV when I was a little kid. He was an amazing entertainer and definitely deserves tremendous recognition for all the USO work he did for so many of this country's brave young sons and daughters.
Troops need as much support as possible. Can't wait for the prayer event Mark.
I remember watching the Bob Hope shows on TV when I was little. He did so much.
And so Mexico is with you, mi amigo. Dragon is joining the prayers.
Merry Christmas to you too, Mark! 50 States of Pray gets a shout out on Write Me A World today!
Awesome news on the numbers!
Congratulations!
I loved all those Bob Hope specials. He was one of my favorite actors as a kid.

Hey Mark,
Barbara "Wawa", Bing Crosby and that lad from London, England, Bob Hope. And hey, there's Hawk Eye.
His rare gift of balancing humour during such terrible times, were moments of joy for the troops.
Merry Christmas, good sir, to you and your loved ones.
Gary :)
As an old soul I enjoyed that video. Bob Hope really went out of his way to make a truly special show for those guys.
Oh, and thanks for dropping by. You can bet we'll be back here a lot more often, too. Cheers.
Oh, got to love Bob. Thanks for sharing this.
