Aloha,
This month, I bow down and offer a tender shout out to all you A-Zers via my homemade, 26-line Haiku (bless you.)
"An Ode…"
A-Zers
Bonkers
Crazy!
Dang...
Everyone
Finds
Groove.
How???
I'm
Just
Koopmans.
Light-headed
Mutterings.
Never
Overwhelmed,
Perhaps?
Quaint
Realization
Struck
That
U
Volunteered.
Wow!
Xoxo,
You
Zen-Writers!
(I know it's as rare as a full solar éclair, or a picture of me in a coconut bra, but there you go, it is April.)
Seriously, though: Good luck and bon chance to the 354,000*** people participating in A-Z, and for the rest of us... quick get writing... there's only a month until everyone comes back :)
***Not actual number. (Based on EPA-Z estimates.) Closed circuit. Professional writer. Ah, man, I'm so tired of telling people they can't. (Go on, now, DO try this at home.) Wow. This really is a tiny font. I never knew I could write so small. And, sure no-one reads this crapioca anyway. Hi Mom! It's me. I'll be home for tea at three, depending on traffic.

My blogger buddy Feedly folder alone has almost 120 posts - it feels like that many participating!
lol, nice. I am not sure what insanity made me do this with a newborn, but hey I'm really enjoying it so far.

Mark, you really are a tiny bit bonkers are you not?
*Tiny font: In a good way. :)

Thank you for this sweet ode Mark.
Mark! You are too funny! Loved your tiny disclaimer at the bottom--you had me cracking up! Thanks for the laugh! See you around the "blogisfear"--Haha! Loved it!
I always read the tiny print.
And what a wonderful salute to the A to Z participants. I'm sorry to not be one of them this year.
Nice ode. Bonkers? Yeah, maybe. Last year definitely. I didn't have all of my posts written ahead of the challenge. This year... so far ahead of the game. Everything written and just waiting to be published! That creates Zen my friend.
Thanks for the morning laugh. Very creative.
Hey, Mark...
Thanks for the ODE... Yup... I know I'm bonkers, but I just want to give back and help my blogger buddies feature their books...
It's always nice to feel special for one day!
Thanks again for reading my ms...
I love your ode, that's really cute. And have fun frolicking around the blogosphere today!
That was a great ode! And this is my first time participating in this challenge. :)
What a perfect post! :)
IWSG #243, until Alex culls the list again.
Well it looks like you're participating, too, just all in one day!
THERE!!! That's what I should have done to celebrate everyone else doing A2Z!
I read the crapioca...at least I tried...I may need bifocals :)
Hats off to the A-Zers.
Hi Mark .. I think there might be a collopse for a few days into May - so an extra writerly period ..
Cheers and enjoy it .. Hilary
Realization did strike but like you said Mike we are Bonkers/Crazy. Melanie S. is right, you complied a month of work in one day. Nice.
Thanks for the support, Mark!
haha
The A-Z is much more challenging than I thought! But I think when I'm done, I'll have mastered the art of shorter posts, if for no other reason than I just don't have the time to write a long one. :)
Mark, I can't with you...I can't ever keep a straight face when I come over to your page. :D
I'm gonna be dropping the pen name soon and only using it for the writing. I've been signing off as Lily-Eva so as not to confuddle too many people, (I had a little announcement on me little blog) but the mommy given name is Eva. :) So, call me what you like, just don't call me George!! :D
Greetings human, Sir Mazza,
Yes, first of all, let's humour my deluded human! It's actually "I Was Seeking Gary" time! Sheesh....
Haiku? Bless you, good human.
The A to Zed is all in their head. Fills me with dread. Nuff said.
Your haiku A to Z is about right.
Never ever worry about hurting the feelings of this lovable dog by not visiting my blog. Arf! and sigh.....
Penny, the pawsitive host of the Alphabark Challenge, 2014!
Stopped by to say hello to someone who lives in paradise. I am a crazy A to Zer. You look good in a grass skirt and coconut shells...
Some crazy person coerced me into participating, and I'm glad, even while feeling overwhelmed by the entire deal (and yeah, there are still 21 more letters).
I like the haiku but I love the disclaimer. Maybe that's my true calling in life...those disclaimers always whisper my name.
Brilliance is bouncing over hereah-Maine accent! I love this and you rock the coconut bra. You remind me of trick or treating in Hawaii. The first time ever-my kids didn't need a coat! A lot of smiles in this post ;D
Go Coconuts! :)
Great A to Z poem for A to Z, Mark!
So do they grow coconut bra trees in certain sizes? So you go to the C-cup tree? Or do you have to shop around each tree to find the right size?
First visit here, (HI a few times) and I'll be back to both!
Hello, Mark
Visiting from Alex's blog. Yes, it's true. You're just a teeny bit bonkers - much like many others of us.
I love your blog.
Felicity
Following over from Alex's AtoZ "E" post today. He sang high praises of you.
Aloha Saturday to you and your family! Catch you at the next IWSG Wednesday.
(crapioca?)
Did you make it to tea??? Hi Mrs. Koopmans!!!! We all love your son. He's pretty awesome!!!
Loved this, Mark. As always, spot on in humor and heart. :)
Aloha Mr. Koopman from a fellow writer and blogger in the A to Z. Love the humor and the coconut bra!
Love this Ode, Mark. Now I'll forever have the image of you in a coconut bra stuck in my head. Thanks for that. A to Z has been fun so far. I got smart this year and have all but 3 of my posts pre-finished so that I can just enjoy. See? Not that bonkers!
