It's All In The Numbers - Thanks To YOU :)

Aloha,

I'm not a numbers person, but this week has made me feel like I'm a real-life baseball stat.
Future MLB Star? Why not, Son. The World is your Home Plate

For example:

*This* is my 200th post.

Multiply that by the fact I cracked 50,000 page views Thursday.

My attention was also divided when I received my 5,000th comment this week, too.

Plus, I'm only two away from 400 followers - and I would so arrange a giveaway - but I have no clue how to start a Rafflechopper.

Instead, I want to say a simple - and heart-feltthank you to everyone who's participated in my "numbers game" these last couple of years.

PS: I'm still minus the hair, but it's all good - the boys say my shining head is like a beacon whenever they need to find me in a crowded mall.

After No. 2 Son read WIP, I felt change was needed...

Happy Friday to one - and all :)

Those are some great numbers to reach. Congratulations!

Did your little guy actually fall asleep there or is he just making a silly face.

I love the photos of kids falling asleep in weird places. My kids didn't do that, but my friend's daughter did. She had one of those colorful bouncy zebra that sit on the floor. Kinda like a rocking horse except it bounces instead of rocks. And her daughter actually fell asleep on it several times while bouncing. It was too funny.

Hey Suzi,

No he was fast asleep - and I, of course, was the concerned parent - once I got THE SHOT :)

Awesome stats and all in one week!
You can't grow hair now. Your kids would never find you again.

@ Alex: Dude, that MAY be the reason TO buy a wig :)

Hi Mark .. congratulations on all those numbers - it's terrible they just pass me by ..

I keep a tab by the number of books I've written - ie Clarissa says about 90,000 words or so for a book .. and that is about 6+ books and going strong?!

Just enjoy that sun .. but mind that shining beacon head .. we'd hate it to peel ....

Love your kids .. well you too of course! Cheers Hilary

Chispas, amiguito! Those are really big numbers. I think you don't need the hair. Your charm is perfect as is. Congratulations on the nearly 400. I would have my dwarves follow you if they had Google accounts, but someone may believe you White Snow if followed by dwarves. :)

Hey, remember you said when I wanted more Irish music I could come to you? I guess you've seen Riverdance. I would like to know where I can find more music like that they dance. It fascinates me.

Have a great weekend!

Congratulations Mark! Great milestones. Your kids are so darn cute. I've got a similar pic of my son asleep at the dinner table, too funny. (:

Mazza type dude,

Your son is ready to step up to the plate! :) And you sir, speaking of baseball, remind me of a Homer, yes as in Homer Simpson! Doh!

Congrats on your 200th post. Did you use the other 199 to make a fence? Geddit?

And now you go beyond 5000 comments and this one, of course, is highly collectable.

I've got this plan to get more followers. I mean, you've got more followers than me. Maybe I should start up a blog fest! Or perhaps I have another plan...

May your head continue to be a beacon to your boys in a crowded shopping mall. Perhaps you could rent out your head as a lighthouse.

Gosh, I'm funny.

Here's to you and your ever-growing legion of adoring fans.

A good weekend to you and your loved ones.

Gary the moustachioed dude!

Congrats on the positive numbers Mark. I have kids here who look for every opportunity to snooze or do whatever else when dad is talking.

Lots of great numbers, Mark! And you don't HAVE to give away anything ... but Rafflecopter is ridiculously easy. Hey, if I can do it, anybody can! :)

Wow, congratulations!!! And that pic is adorable :) It reminds me of the kids that fall asleep in the lunchroom!

Congratulations Mark!

Now, I must brag. I managed to do a rafflecopter. Though, I forgot to go back to the site and pick winners.

(I always imagine booger picking when I say "Picking winners"...I feel I can be honest about that with you.)

I love being part of your stats! And I'm sure Son#2 was just overly tired.

Congrats on such amazing stats!

These numbers sound like a reflection of the kind of writer friend you are to others. Congratulations!

YAY! Congrats on your big numbers!! I can't really count comments since I've left some on my own blog, but I am now curious about how many comments I have. :D

I'd follow your blog to give you an extra number, but I'm already following ;)

Congrats on your stats, dude!

It's funny how certain shines of those connected to you are so distinct. It's like how you know the distinct shine of your own car in a crowded parking lot, keeping you from having to push the "panic" button to locate where you've parked. Great that your kids know your shine. :) Writer’s Mark
