I wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to participate, comment (or do both!) during my "Got Green? Blog O'hop (version 2.0') last Friday.
I had a great time reading all the official - and unofficial - entries and it was hard picking the winners, but after a second helping of ham and cabbage and a few pints of the Black Stuff, the choices were chosen.
I have linked each winning entry via the post writer.
If you haven't already, please stop by and I promise you'll enjoy a great yarn, a couple of true stories and I mustn't forget the French Connection :)
... Here, mister conductress, can I get a bodhrán roll please...

YAY Sia!!!!! :)
Congratulations to the winners! :)
Congratulations to the winners. I had great fun too even if I didn't enter. Thank you again for making my day with that song! Best of lucks with your challenge.
OH MY GOSH! Really?
Well...wow! Thank you Mark. I do have a pretty awesome family--most of the time.
Is this where I mention that I didn't even notice there was a prize when I signed up? I just thought it was a cool topic and would be fun. I don't get to do many bloghops.
I loved Sheena-kay's leprechaun story. It was a great piece. I love stories that entertain and have a moral. I could so see this as an oral story--the gestures, voice pitch, musical beats, and the reactions of the audience circled around.
Donna's family being the survivor of the Donner Party was fascinating.
I think Elise had fine contribution--well there was green beer but I loved her green dress, lol!
Congratulations Ladies!
Thanks for the fun hop, Mark!
Hi Mark - Sia's St Paddy's party time ... looks like something we should all put in our diaries for next year?! What a great setting ...
Elise's dress was great ... and you chose all ladies - good on you! - well you and the ladies are to be congratulated ....
Good luck with your edits .. and yes, see you in May .. cheers Hilary
