Oh Mark, that photo of the monument with the soldiers and the flag against a hot orange sky -- just remarkable! I'm sending my son over to take a peek!
Hope you are well. Haven't spoken in a while.
All best, Linda
I need to put our flag out when I get home.
Hey, Mark
Not to ignore sentiments about Flag Day...but your great pictures provoked a technical question...if you don't mind.
How did you keep blogger from using lower res files for display? (which you then have to click on for the higher res file to display)
My experience is (even with Publisher which I use for my webpage) low-res files default for initial display. I figured out how to replace the low-res pictures produced in the html Files folder...so how do you do it in Blogger?
Thanks

Love us some Flag Day here in San Antonio, Mark. :) Stirring pics!
I LOVE FLAG DAY!
Also love history and the spirit of our country. :)
Yaaa!! Happy Flag Day!! l=
Such stirring images! Thanks for your patriotism, Mark and for the beautiful pictures.
I love the last picture - the sunset is beautiful. The story behind the statue is heart-rending, too.
Happy Flag Day! In grade school it was a fun day. We'd make paper hats, have a parade around the school, gather around the flagpole, then sing and play our recorders.
Had my flags (yes, plural) up and I also planted red, white and blue flowers this year!
These are such beautiful photos! Thanks for this meaningful post. Julie
love the pictures, especially the last one!

Wait, it was flag day? Oops. Now I'm feeling like a very bad patriot, lol!
We did put out flag out. And. . .Happy Father's Day, Mark. Hope you can celebrate with your family and that the little guys gave you big hugs.
That first image still gives me chills. Thanks for the patriotic reminder. :)
A post most patriotic. Love it. :)
My kids wore red, white, and blue to school on flag day :)
