Countdown to 15 ...

Aloha,

(Gosh, I miss using this as my greeting, so I'm calling it again!)

Just a simple post to say thank you to everyone who commented on my recent IWSG post and offered to help promote my first book, REVIVAL: The Donald Braswell Story which comes out in a mere fifteen weeks.

I truly appreciate the warmth and support shown me, especially as I am a recovering, but dreadful return commenter! (Dare I say "It writes if you write it.")

Wanting to leave you with something cute, I found this picture...

We were at Mount Vernon (home of the nation's first President) and I looked what our 5-year-old had done.

"He's 'Wise,' don't you see it?"

"Ahhh, thanks #2 Son, That's a beautiful picture of me and I'm glad you think I'm handsome and wise."

He turned around, disgusted with me...

"That's not you Dad, he has too much hair. It's George Washington."

(Sigh.... :)

It must be hard to be confident with small people in your life... They do call it as they see it don't they?
Fifteen weeks? Ooooh. And if I am excited you must be just about wetting yourself...

He had too much hair. Ah, kids are the best. :)

I know I missed your IWSG post, but I'd be happy to help you promote your book, if you need/want. I'm so excited that it's coming out, and so soon! Congrats!

He's right, there is too much hair.
Say the word and we are ready to help you!

At least your son didn't say it wasn't you because you're not wise.

Out of the mouths of babes! Give him a hug, he sounds like he is quite the young man.

LOL! You should have said, "Well, he wore a wig, anyway!" and stuck out your tongue like any self respecting adult would do ;)

Wishing you nothing but the best with the book!

Haha--too funny.

My kids know how to draw me in pics as well: not much hair and much older than I will admit to looking.

Hey Mazza, me old mucker!

Son numbero two has a career in comedy and honesty! Could that picture possibly be the cover reveal for your upcoming book?

I'm going now, Mazza.

I TOTALLY MISSED YOUR ANNOUNCEMENT! Congrats. Actually, I was thinking the other day, "I haven't checked in with Mark lately. Wonder what's happening with him." I'll tweet your release for sure.

It appears you were following that Guinness truck a little close :) I've only been to Dublin, but would love to go back and visit the countryside
