EuroDisney Opening Crew 20 Years Ago Today :)

Bonjour,

(That's French for "This is not a post - I swear.")

Twenty years ago - today :) - and just outside of Paris, France, I helped open EuroDisney.

YES! The Spazz in the Pink Shirt in Front Row is ME (Photo Credit: Liw A. Letliw.)

Gosh, it was an amazing day (and an *amazing* year)

Here are a couple of pictures - of then and now :)

Derek, ME and Rory prancing..er I mean dancing (Photo Credit: Liw A. Letliw.)

Dude, please tell me you didn't keep these for 20 years??

Me (today) with my Opening Crew Hat & T-shirt...(& yes, that *is* ELMO hiding in the tree :)

I worked in a restaurant in college and we had the greatest team of dancing closers/ cleaners...you remind me of them. :)

LOL! Look at you and your baby pics! I love it!

And I've always wanted to know what a home in Hawaii looks like... You have blinds, couches, and walls! (Wasn't sure if you lived in huts or something) :P

And Elmo is TOTALLY cracking me up!!!!! Seriously so fun, Marky Mark!

@ Escape Artist:) Thanks, some things have to be remembered:)

@ Kelley Lynn: Pheww, it was a *busy* day, glad you had fun there:)

@ Bonnee: Elmo is a Spam, er I mean a fan favorite in our house :)

@ Elizabeth: Ahhh, those jobs we had when we were younger :)

@ Linda: Hey, thank *you* for taking the time to comment :)

@ Jack: Too funny, man... be careful, the pedestal will crack and break, I'll fall and The Mouse will be crushed in the rubble :)

@ Cassie: Seriously.. don't you know that undergarments were optional in France - especially for those of us wearing Pink Shirts :)

@ Morgan: Oh my, if these are my "baby pics" there isn't a wallet strong enough to hold them:)
PS... I rented this room for a day. Now back in shack :)
PPS... Elmo was hungry... what can I say... that I put him in the tree last week and forgot?

@ Lara: Merci, and I'm glad to be sharing my love of the French language... au revoir :)

@ Alex: Thanks, Alex... only about 12,000 of us, but that'a what makes it soooo much fun :)
FB is going nuts today, as you could imagine :)

@ Scarlett: Shhhhh, don't tell anyone :)

Very cool that you still have the shirt! My sister loves visiting the Happiest Place on Earth. She just returned from the Hong Kong parks and I received a fun package today with gifts.

Ha! And you haven't changed a bit! You know, I live in Europe, been to France on a number of occasions...but never been to EuroDisney. How sad is that!

Never made it to Disneyland, Paris, even though it's nearer home than the sites on the American mainland! The kids are grown and gone, so I guess we'll have to wait until the next generation arrives... ;-p

Just dropped by on the blog-hop - happy A-Z'ing!

SueH I refuse to go quietly!
